Business owners were joined by their local MP for a networking lunch on Tuesday, July 5.
The members of Walton Business Group (WBG) were visited by Dominic Raab, MP for Esher and Walton, who spoke about the importance of them relaying their needs to Westminster through him.
Mr Raab said: “It is vital for me to hear back directly from local business on issues facing them on a daily basis.
“The Walton Business Group has already proved an invaluable forum for me to engage in a productive discussion with local business - and make sure their voice is heard in Westminster.”
Members also put forward questions about commercial properties, parking, supporting Walton High Street and better targeting of legislation to smaller businesses.
The lunch, provided by WBG member Jan Ghosh, was hosted in the Thames-side garden of fellow member Louise Cummins.
