Students and staff from the ACS Cobham International School performed at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday, January 28, as part of the Voice in a Million concert.
They were joined by more than 4,000 other children from around Britain, including ACS students from Hillingdon and Egham, to raise funds for the British Association for Adoption and Fostering.
The voices of the Capital Arts Children’s Choir also made a special guest appearance.
Zoe Lees, head of music at ACS Cobham, said: “To perform in a concert venue of that magnitude is an incredible achievement for these students and it is wonderful that Voice in a Million has given the school this opportunity.”
The Cobham students rehearsed weekly for their renditions of Oh Happy Day, Lean on Me and You’ll Never Walk Alone.
The concert was the first in a series of worldwide events which aimed to record one million children’s voices through the course of this year.
