Actor Trevor Bannister heads line-up at Princess Alice Hospice Christmas concert

Veteran British actor Trevor Bannister will be the celebrity guest of honour at the Princess Alice Hospice’s candlelight Christmas concert this Saturday.

The actor, most famous for his role as Mr Lucas in Are You Being Served?, as well as parts in Coronation Street and The Avengers, will appear from 7.30pm.

Joining him at the concert in Holy Trinity Church, Claygate, will be Frank Renton, star of BBC Radio 2’s Listen to the Band, as well as Tom Ellis, the very first classical guitar scholar of the Yehudi Menuhin School, who received a bursary funded by the Rolling Stones.

The Pegasus Choir, which featured on the BBC1 show Last Choir Standing, will be in fine voice as they lead the hundreds of supporters in festive song.
