Gay charity nights will begin in Weybridge on April 8, with the aim of fighting hate crime in Surrey.
Gay Surrey is holding the monthly nights at Abaya in Weybridge, and a high percentage of money collected at the door will go towards the charity’s Stop Hate Now campaign.
All are welcome at the nights, which will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at the recently refurbished nightclub and bar.
Charity chairman Gino Meriano said: “We were over the moon when Abaya approached us about holding these nights.
“It’s a great location with fantastic security and its just been refurbished so we’re really happy to be able to hold our nights there. We’v had loads of interest since announcing it on our website.”
Tickets for the launch night can be bought on the door of the Heath Road venue.
