Comedy jazzers the Bill Posters Will Be Band are joining up with former members of the Bonzo Dog Band for an evening of musical lunacy at the Bull’s Head on Thursday.
Billed as “a monster pre-Christmas show”, the event will feature a set from members of Three Bonzos and a Piano – a bite-sized version of the 60s dada-ists, who are currently back playing together.
Bill Posters banjo player “Evil” John Gieves-Watson said: “It should be a good evening. As well as the Bonzos we’ve also got Bob Flag coming down. He used to be a full time member of the band. He’s quite bonkers.”
The Barnes pub is currently celebrating 50 years of jazz at the venue.
The Bill Posters Will Be Band play the Bull’s Head, Barnes, on Thursday, December 3, at 8.30pm. Call 020 876 5241 for details.
